Commonly Asked Questions After Booking

1. When do we need to complete our wedding questionnaire?

Please fill out and return your Wedding Questionnaire at least 6 weeks prior to your wedding day. This information helps us to choose a DJ most suitable to your needs. We don't expect you to have all the answers, but it will get you thinking about the different things we need to talk about leading up to your wedding.

2. How can we choose our music?

In the online library, music suggestions are divided into different eras, different styles and lists appropriate to various special parts of your wedding. The music lists allow you to choose 20 "Must Plays", up to 150 "Play If You Can" and the same for "Don't Play!" Remember however that these are just ideas.

There are about 3000 songs listed. Our actual library consists of over 45,000 tracks. To make sure the wedding reflects your personalities make sure you look at your own CD collection as well. You will be shut out from the Music Lists 5 days before your wedding to allow us time to organize your music however you don't have to choose anything from here if you don't want to.

3. How do we access the on line music lists?

Click on 'Open Client Login' at the top of this page.

Enter your event date using the drop down boxes.

Enter your password.

4. What do we do if we have forgotten our password?

If you have forgotten your password or you have any difficulty accessing the music library then please contact us on 1300 33 77 35.

5. Can we listen to music samples in the online library?

Yes you can. By clicking on the sound icon to the left of each song you can listen to the chosen song in Itunes. (There are a few songs not currently on Itunes.) You need to have downloaded Itunes to your computer and have a suitable soundcard and speakers.

6. When do we meet our DJ?

This meeting usually takes place about four to six weeks before your wedding (at our offices in Morley) but can be anytime up to the week before depending on when is most convenient for you, especially if you are travelling from interstate or overseas. Alternatively if you want to meet your DJ more than six weeks before your wedding please contact us and we will try to accommodate you.

7. Where do we meet our DJ?

At our office - unit 5, 141 Russell Street, Morley

8. Do we need to bring anything to the meeting?

You don't need to bring anything with you, although your DJ will find it very useful if you have given some thought to your choice of important songs (e.g. bridal waltz, entrance songs, etc), if you haven't already chosen them. Your DJ will then be able to assist you with recommendations and by playing samples of tracks.

9. What will happen at the meeting?

Your DJ will work with you to plan the exact detail and format of the night, including the music, the MC / public speaking duties & any other special requirements relevant to your wedding.

Your DJ will also be able to give you some help with what your speeches might include and some different ways of customising the format to suit your own circumstances. We certainly won't discourage you if you are trying to make your wedding unique, but we want to make sure you are well informed about how your decisions will affect your reception. Your DJ can also act as Master of Ceremonies at no additional charge.

10. What will happen after the meeting?

You will be sent a copy of your wedding procedure (an exact guide to the run down of your wedding) a day or two after the DJ meeting. You can then change or add to your wedding procedure up to one week before your wedding when the final version will be sent to you again, to your DJ and to your venue.

11. Do we need to pay extra for the DJ to act as MC?

No, it is all included.

12. Is the booking fee taken off the total cost or is it on top of the total cost?

The booking fee is taken off the total cost.
